I was much a believer as anyone else who is or has been. It’s just that like others, I took the blinders off and realized that the wizard doesn’t exist behind the curtain. If there’s something there for you, that’s great. But once one finds the truth it’s hard to believe in what isn’t there.

I’m sorry to hear that :’( And there is a God. You want proof? Look at yourself, think about how our body works. How could anyone other then God create us human beings. Why would someone spend so much time writing the Bible if they were making it all up? I’m not gonna try persuading you but just think about these questions and about what you’re living for. What is your purpose in life? Mine is to be an example to others showing God’s love so that I can one day see them in Heaven where there is no doubt, pain, nor sorrow.

I’m not offended and I commented to quite a few posts but I just wanted to ask, were you just going through the motions when you were a christian? Cause the religion “Christianity” and the relationship with “Christ” are two different things. I know that God is real because He has shown himself to me (not literally) through my life and through the things he has blessed me with. I encourage you to actually talk to God because He’s always with you. I have nothing against catholics but I know that they have a lot of traditions, saints, and specific prayers. This to me makes it seem like it’s all about what you do and if you didn’t do something, you have to go make a confession. With me, if I do something wrong, God already knows but if I truly repent, he forgives me. All I have to do is pray, and He hears me like He always does. This sometimes seems too easy for some people to understand and so they choose not to believe. Sorry for the long message but I hope you come to understand that God loves you no matter what you think and one day you’ll see that He’s the only way/ the TRUE God. At times you might be confused about what the bible says, but that’s why it’s called faith. We need to keep praying and asking the Holy Spirit for understanding. How can our little minds comprehend the maker of the heavens and earth?

Ok so I don’t believe this is the way you should act. Did Jesus curse? No. I’m sorry but as children of God, we’re supposed to love everyone but not love what they are doing if it’s wrong. God convicts us, so if we truly love him, we will want to live for him and do what’s right in his eyes. Yes Jesus is the reason we are forgiven and God’s grace, mercy, and power displays his love towards us sinners.

Back to the picture it says, “you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master.” When Christians take communion, it is to remember that Christ died for us so that our sins can be forgiven because we would never be able to do it on our own. Jesus wants us to have a relationship with him, like you would with a father or even a close family member. He’s God, without him we are nothing and there is no purpose in this life without him.
