One of my favorite CDs of the moment is Lindsay Fuller’s “You, Anniversary.” It’s lyrically dark and ominous, musically edgy and exciting, and vocally rough as sandpaper and soft as velvet. A really, really great release that evokes the shadows and echoes of Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and Chris Pureka, but still uniquely the work of Lindsay Fuller. It’s one of a handful of CDs not to be missed this year.
