A T-shirt is usually the most casual and cheapest of garments, but the latest Hermes collection includes one that costs a cool $91,500.
The pricey item, made entirely of black crocodile skin, is available in the designer label’s Madison Avenue flagship store. An additional $8,000 in sales tax brings the top’s price up to nearly six figures – enough to purchase three or four actually quite decent cars.
The T-shirt made its debut last fall on the Spring 2013 runway as part of the label’s chiffon crocodile shirt line. All of the tops from the collection cost between $60,000 and $100,000, according to Fashionista.
